Preparations for the 3D Nationals of the TBVD Association

In times of the pandemic it has become difficult with the tournament participation. Many tournaments had to be canceled unfortunately. At least the German championship of the TBVD, which will take place this year in Hummetroth is still current. Now I have to prepare for it in the best possible way. I have finished my personal setup. Not changing anything there anymore. I will shoot in the TRB class (traditional recurve bow). Now it’s a matter of developing a training plan and going on unknown courses. That will probably be the best training. A tournament that lasts several days is already an exhausting thing. I’ll have to give it some thought. The training sessions this year were unfortunately far too few. Now that the county opens up up a bit more, I can step on the gas again. Soon the vacation is on the schedule, and then I have time for some extra units in the forest. I am looking forward to it. There is still a little time until September, but nevertheless I want to start early with intensive training. It’s the first national championship for me, after having been more on local tournaments so far. For now, I want to take the German nationals to see where I stand. The TBVD is a small federation and maybe not comparable to the big federations in Germany. But I will still take it seriously.
